Biography:
Although into his art his first paid job and early training was within the building trade. Anthony later studied at Bournemouth University, gaining a BA honours degree.
As a child growing up one of his favourite shows on TV was The Muppets, he always wanted to work for Jim Henderson’s creature workshop! He always played Dungeons & Dragons but thoroughly enjoyed painting the miniature figurines more.
During the recent Covid virus lockdown he discovered that he was able to create and print his own models to paint, all through the use of his newly acquired 3D printer.
With his love of history Salisbury and it’s surrounding areas was his place to be. From walking it’s ancient Roman roads with his dog, to digging up old Celtic coins. Salisbury proved to be a treasure trove of history for him.
Anthony’s secret passion lies with Sci-Fi purely for it’s shear joy of escapism that it gives him. He will often create works related to that subject – from the ‘Alien’ movies to the ‘Predator’ franchise. With a library of intricate ideas, he has many works planned for the future.
